To walk in the light is an exciting journey, yet a strangely, a heavy one. It is one fraught with trials and temptations, yet a comforting promise is given, that He will not tempt us beyond what you can bear.
It’s a solemn commitment to follow the light, which is our Lord Jesus Christ. Its promises are many in the Bible, yet, its perils were also well documented through the chronicles of time and martyrdom.
Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Sometimes, one would wonder whether it is all worth it, but as the adage goes, sometimes, you just gotta have faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
May this online journal and sojourning spur us to examine ourselves through the eye of Jesus Christ, who suffered on earth like us human, yet was without sin. May this quicken us to desire to be more like Christ, and follow in His footsteps.
